First Premier Payment Options

Recently, I inquired with First Premier Bank what card payment options were other than making a payment through their website. If you choose their 'Make A Payment' option online, your credit card is charged a fee of $7.00. It's the perfect example of how Credit Cards companies for individuals who have less than perfect or no credit can easily take advantage of their cardholders. Whoever heard of making a payment and being charged $7.00 to do so? You would think they would make this option free as to encourage people to use their lousy website as opposed to having people mail the payment in. The payment information is of course not located on their website, after all, why not make it inconvenient and force those who have already logged in pay through their sight and be raped with a $7.00 payment fee. Luckily, I bank with Chase, so I can submit a payment through online bill pay and it's sent electronically from my bank for free.

Here is the response from First Premier Bank and I thought I'd post it so everyone doesn't fall victim to even more of their ridiculous fees.

  3. I pay online through their website www.mypremiercreditcard.com all the time, using my checking account. And I'm never charged any fee.
I've also paid by phone (maybe a few times), and again, no fee.
